All Wire Condos are custom manufactured to your specifications by our small family business in Central Pennsylvania. Every order goes into production in the sequence received. Expect a minimum of 2 week for production, assembly, and shipping. During peak spring bonsai season, lead times have historically reached 6+ weeks. If timing matters, please contact us for a current estimate before placing your order.

The B-Series Wire Condo is the most user-friendly and economical bonsai wire caddy on the market — designed for bonsai enthusiasts who want simple, tangle-free organization without a premium price.

Featuring our signature quick-swap spool system with expandable pressure cores, the B-Series lets you reload or swap individual spools in seconds —without unloading the rest of the caddy.

• B5 — Six rolls up to 500g each (max width 1.75").  Nearly all 500g rolls.
• B1K — Six rolls up to 1kg each (max width 2 1/8", or select copper)

How It Works

Each quick swap spools twist apart by hand. Compress the pressure core, slide your wire roll over the core, and release — the core expands to center and grip it securely.

Load spools into the B-Series so the wire follows the spool down the back, underneath the spool then through the back of the replaceable nozzle, and out the front for smooth, tangle-free dispensing.

Expandable Spool Core Sizes

We suggest a core that your size wire core hole, falls in the middle of. (B1K example: 4" hole in kilo roll would use small core, 5" would use medium core). 

Standard spools are marked and are what you will receive (if different size required, requests in notes at checkout)

B5 Spool Core Sizes

• Small: 2.35" - 3.5"
• Medium: 3" - 4"
• Large (Standard): 4" - 5.75"
  

B1K Spool Core Sizes

• XSmall: 3" – 3.75"
• Small: 3.5" – 5"
• Medium (standard): 4" – 5.75"
• Large: 5" – 6.5"
• XLarge: 5" – 7"

B1K-XL Spool Core Sizes

• Small (Standard): 4" - 5"

Width Compatibility 

Standard B5 spools (500g spools) fit nearly all 100g-500g wire rolls that we encountered. 

Standard B1K spools (1 kilo spools) have a maximum width of 2 1/4" and work with most aluminum kilo rolls.

For wider 1kg rolls (such as Stone Lantern kilos), we recommend the U1K-XL model wire caddy, or B1K-XL that can handle wider rolls of wire up to 2 5/8" wide.
