The B Series Wire Condo was made to be the most user friendly and economic wire caddy for bonsai wire on earth. The condo consist of six slots, each slot holds a spool, each spool holds rolls of aluminum and possibly copper wire depending on model.
Each spool utilizes an expandable core that can fit a range of wire core openings. The spools are individually loaded so you don't need to take the entire caddy apart to reload wire. You also don't need to respool wire onto the spools.
Available B-Series Models:
- B5 - six rolls up to 500g each and a max width of 1.75".
- B1K - six rolls up to 1kg each and max width of 2 1/8" and some copper.
- B1K-XL - six rolls up to 1kg each and max width of 2 1/2" and some copper.
- Fits most aluminum

More Details:
Each spool is removable and can be loaded with a new roll of wire by simply unscrewing it. Each spool has a pressure core that can fit a specific rang of wire. The core can be compressed and wire slipped over. The core will tighten (pushing outward) on the wire and hold it in place. Once reloaded, the spool can be screwed back together (by hand) and seated back into it's base slot. The caddy is then ready to be loaded into it's nozzle and then ready for use.
One of the key benefits of the Wire Condo Bonsai Wire Caddy is the removable spools. You can purchase extra spools separately and keep wire on them. You can have 9 spools and swap out three as needed. This will keep the cost down a bit and still give you full functionality.

B5 Spool and Core Sizes The B5 utilizes the same 7" spools as our A5 Wire Condo. The maximum width of each wire roll for our 7" spools is 1 3/4". The standard spools each fit wire rolls with a core opening of 4" - 5.5". We tested many types of 500g wire and most work on the standard spool. Other spool cores are available to meet wire core sizes 3" - 4" and 5.5" - 6.5" if needed. Check your wire core hole diameter prior to ordering your caddy. B1K and B1K-XL Spool and Core Sizes Our kilo size caddy's utilize our 7.75" spools. The maximum width of the rolls of wire depend on your choice of model (see below). Our standard (Medium) spool cores each fit wire rolls with a core opening of 4" - 5.75". These are our standard because they are ideal for the wire we sell and use. Standard spools work with many brands of aluminum wire. Check your wire core hole diameter prior to ordering your caddy. Please add your requested core size from the list below to the notes field at checkout. Standard size cores are sent by default. Available Core Sizes for B1K and B1K-XL - XSmall - 3" - 3.75" - Small - 3.5" - 5" - Medium (standard) - 4" - 5.75" - Large - 5" - 6.5" - XLarge - 5" - 7" B1K has a maximum wire roll width of 2 1/8" B1K-XL has a maximum wire roll width of 2 3/8" wide. |
All spools and handles are black unless otherwise noted.

All Wire Condo's are custom manufactured to your specifications. We are a small business located in Central Pennsylvania. Wire Condo's will take at a minimum of one week to produce, assemble and get shipped. Some model customization choices take up to 300 hours just to manufacturer. Your wire caddy order will be placed in a que for manufacturing in the order in which they were received. We have experienced back-ups during the spring bonsai rush up to six+ weeks in the past, but have taken steps to expand manufacturing capacities. If you are concerned on the timing, please contact us for a rough idea on current lead times.
