Extra spools for the A5 Wire Condo are super handy to have. We have several core sizes so your wire will likely fit one of them.
Here are a few ways they are used:
- People get extra spools to have backup spools preloaded with wire so when you run out, you just swap to the preloaded spool.
- These are also useful to keep wire not commonly used such as larger or smaller than average sizes. If you plan to use odd sizes, just swap them out temporarily.
- Purchasing a set of all sizes will give you the most flexibility. Aluminum coiled for bonsai purposes will likely fit one of the cores depending on your aluminum wire brand's core size.
We currently only produce these in black.

Unless you have all the time in the world to wait for your product, or even an answer from customer service, I’d advise you find a different solution for your wire storage. While the product is quality made, everything else about the buying experience is trash.
The wire carrier is cleverly designed and while I understand how to put the wire spool on, it was very difficult to compress the fins to do so. So far that is my only negative for the system.
